MMS CUP brings together runners from all walks of life every year. In association with Primonial REIM France & Interface, they have been organising races in the heart of Paris for many years. This year, the proceeds of the race went towards research for children with rare genetic illnesses.

The MMS CUP 5K 2024 was hosted in the Lumière business centre building in Bercy on the 12th of June. Above you can also see one of many adverts for the upcoming Olympic games. The games will take place in Paris from the 26 July 2024 – 11 August 2024. Followed by the Paralympics on 28 August 2024 – 8 September 2024.

Bercy Village is a picturesque little place with many boutiques, restaurants and hotels.

There is also a beautiful local park, which is home to lots of ducks. If you take part in the race, you will have the opportunity to pass through and see some while admiring the beautiful scenery.

The French government are promoting the fact that the health of their population is the wealth of their nation. By way of improving the physical and mental well-being of their citizens, they launched: Great National Cause 2024: Move, 30 minutes every day!

The simple goal is to encourage everyone, irrespective of age or fitness level, to commit 30 minutes a day to physical activity in the general sense. 30 minutes of physical activity, even moderate, per day is enough to make an immediate and lasting change. Whether it is a walk, a run, a bike session or any other form of exercise, the main thing is to move. Everyday activities, such as walking to work or gardening, also count.
