A quick and easy way to get to Paris from London is via Eurostar at Kings Cross. The journey is about 2 hours and 30 minutes from London, Kings Cross to Paris, Gare du Nord; if there is no disruption.

Arrive early for your Eurostar train. It states 90 minutes before departure on the ticket. Trains generally leave on time and security could be busy as there are many other departing trains from London, Kings Cross to various other destinations with France or Belgium.

The baggage allowance is very generous at 2 suitcases per traveler plus a reasonably sized piece of hand luggage. In case of changes please check the Eurostar website, this is correct as of February 2023. Eurostar operates an “if you can lift it, you can take it” policy. Check with Eurostar for further information such as their restricted or hazardous items regulations.

Be sure to board the correct part of the train. Look for the sign to turn left or right for your carriage number as you enter the train.

Below are two examples of delicious meals and refreshments that you may be possibly served in standard premier class. There is one meal served during the journey.

Note that there is no complimentary meal provided in standard class on Eurostar, but food and refreshments are for sale onboard.

Tickets can be purchased from the Eurostar website or in person at one of the Eurostar ticket offices. It is best to book as early as possible in advance to get the best deal.
