
Palais de Beaux-arts, Lille is a museum which is called a Musée in French. It is one of the largest museums in France and is dedicated to displaying fine and modern arts, along with antiques. It makes a great visit for a relaxing afternoon in Lille.


The Palais des Beaux-arts, Lille is easily accessible from Gare, Lille Flandres. It is two stops away by metro on line 1, in the direction of 4 Cantons Stade Pierre Mauroy. And it’s about 5 minutes walk from the metro station.


On entering you will see the artistically designed stained glass windows, the decorated walls and high ceiling.

There are many art collections featured by artists such as Jacques Louis David, Edouard Manet, Donatella, Claude Monet, Camille Claudel, Eugene Delacroix, Francisco de Goya y Lucientes, Pablo Picasso, Cornelis Boumeester, James Pradier, Denis Foyatier, and many more.

Wednesdays from 10 am–6 pm
Thursdays from 10 am–6 pm
Fridays from 10 am–6 pm
Saturdays from 10 am–6 pm
Sundays from 10 am–6 pm
Tickets can be purchased in the museum.
Full entry price is €7 and concessions are €4 (Details correct as of December 2022)
