In part 2 we are looking at food! 😍
There is so much choice of what to eat in Nice from the sweet and savoury treats in the local patisseries to the local French, American or Italian style take aways and Restaurants.

Niçoise salad is the main regional dish. You will not have to be told that it is a speciality, as you will see it being sold at most restaurants, the picture explains it all! It’s a great healthy and dairy free option that will come in handy during the hot weather when you may prefer a light meal.

Crêpe Socca is another regional delicacy and it can be found at almost every supermarket and local Niçoise restaurant. It’s made from chickpea flour, olive oil and water. It’s actually quite delicious plus it’s dairy free😋

Be prepared to see some interesting products in the local Carrefour supermarket, from prisoned pears to packets of squid salad to large opened mouthed fishes and cow brains.

The balsamic vinegar would definitely be the best dairy free option.

Just to leave you on a sweet note, above is a flower bouquet made from candy! Very nicely decorated, but watch out for sugar overload!
