When first arriving in Nice, one will see the iconic #IloveNice monument, which looks gorgeous under the rays of fresh morning sunshine!

Nice is like a hidden gem in the Cote D’Azur (coast of Azure, which is the Mediterranean coastline) France, which is also referred to as the French Riviera.

First thing as you leave the airport on your left hand side you will see a ticket office, you will need to go in and buy a ticket for the airport bus which cost about €6.00. Then go to the appropriate bus stop straight in-front of you to the left – you can’t miss it, it’s just before the I Love Nice sign. It’s easy to take a bus to your hotel if it’s within Nice. Take the 98 bus towards Promenade des Arts. You must remember to validate your ticket as you enter the bus or you could be fined if an inspector comes to check.
Alternatively if you have lots of luggage, you could take a cab which costs from 35€ – 45€ and takes about 10 min to get to Nice Acropolis area depending on traffic.
The sight of the beautiful beach as you drive to your hotel accommodation 😍

You can also use the tramway system that goes around Nice. Tickets are €1.50 and must be bought before boarding. You can purchase at the tram stops where each tram stops automatically. It only uses coins or cards, no notes. And you can not pay on board.

If arriving around the 1st of March you will be in time to see the Nice Masséna Carnival which takes place every year.

Be sure to take a trip to the local Carrefour supermarket, it’s always fun plus there are lots of treats to be had 😋
